Mental Health
Awareness Conference

Art of the Mind

Plannr’s March “The Art of the Mind'' Campaign focused on how to use different art forms to relieve stress and share stories of mental health. Throughout the month, we shared resources on how to get started, quotes, and various artists who use their methods to raise awareness about mental health. This campaign will consist of a multiple takeovers by different artists (visual, dance, music, etc).

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month 2022, we hosted a MHAM Conference which consisted of a two day event of panels and workshops as well as many informational social media posts. We hosted a POC Mental Health Panel, a student mental health workshop, a finding the right therapist workshop, and a keynote speaker.

Month of Action

Mental Health Awareness Month

The first annual Plannr Summit was a two day event that discussed mental health advocacy as a whole, spanning from stress relief and self care to discussions about inequities in mental healthcare! We hope our Summit positively impacted students and inspired them to recognize the importance of mental health, while also encouraging them to inspire change in their communities.

Plannr Consulting’s July Month of Action Campaign focused on international social justice and youth activism. Throughout the month, we posted resources on taking care of your mental health as an activist, and activism-focus posts over several different areas of activism. The Campaign also consisted of a Q&A panel of activists in LGBTQIA+, Minority, Gender Rights, and Student Rights Activism on Saturday, July 24.

In May 2021, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we hosted a series of Instagram takeovers surrounding different aspects of mental health, including Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, and Personality Disorders. We also put together a virtual mental health wall where participants could post messages of kindness.

Sustain the Mind

“The environment can influence either positively or negatively a person’s mental well-being,” ~ THE UN

 

The Sustain the Mind Campaign discussed two important aspects of social justice– mental health and environmentalism. Caring for the environment is deeply connected to caring for oneself, so this campaign spread awareness around this concept to students. The campaign also consisted of social media posts regarding sustainability and its relation to mental health as well as a panel with one youth climate organization, one psychologist, and one environmentalist.

Self-Love

The Self Love Campaign is focused on spreading awareness about self care techniques and encouraging others to more frequently practice self care. With Valentine’s Day coming, we wanted to encourage loving others and yourself!

For the campaign, we did a self care box giveaway. This included a wide array of self care items. We also provided a Self Love Kit and 10 self care resources on Instagram.
 

Suicide Prevention and Awareness

Watch to hear our insightful discussion from the Suicide Prevention Awareness Webinar we held on September 26 from 4 to 5 PM Central Time. We talked about statistics and warning signs of suicide, support and awareness, youth and BIPOC communities, and mental health!

In collaboration with Paris Project, we also hosted a creative contest where young people could submit their art surrounding the topic of suicide awareness.

Stress Management

Led by four licensed mental health professionals, Plannr Consulting’s stress management webinar defined stress, taught coping mechanisms & mindfulness, and had a Q&A portion where participants asked questions and got advice! Each mental health professional presented a short presentation. We also shared websites and worksheets for participants to further their stress management knowledge.

Mental Health Week & Kindness

In October 2020, Plannr Consulting hosted two campaigns - Mental Health Week and our Kindness Campaign.

Mental Health Week
In honor of Mental Health Week, Plannr produced an Instagram Live with Erica Nye from Connect Student Therapy. In addition to the live, we released Instagram posts spreading awareness about Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Depression, Eating Disorders, Addiction/Substance Use Disorder, and PTSD.

Kindness Campaign
World Kindness Day was also in October, so we created a Kindness Wall where everyone could virtually share some love. The week-long campaign partnered with Kindness4All, and consisted of posts with Kindness Challenges and interviews with partner organizations focused on spreading kindness.

Back-to-School

Mindfulness Conference

The Empowerment Campaign consisted of a series of challenges and webinars with various women leaders, hosted in collaboration with itsbettertogether.

In response to the Black Lives Matter movement in June 2020, Plannr Consulting released a large variety of resources for the movement, and statements surrounding the death of George Floyd. The team also introduced information on Black Mental Health to spread awareness.

Leadership

Plannr Consulting hosted a Leadership Campaign discussing what qualities make a leader. The team shared what leadership meant to them, and later hosted a webinar with leaders across the world.

Mental Health Awareness Month

Along with Shattering the Stigma, Plannr Consulting hosted a Stop the Stigma Campaign in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. In addition to providing exposure to different mental health issues and hosting IG lives with various mental health organizations, the organization created a series of Instagram posts about the stigma around mental health.

Corona Care

In a series of calls, Instagram posts, and Instagram stories, Plannr Consulting hosted a Corona Care Campaign to bring light to important mental health issues that arose due to the COVID-19 virus.

Empower Interview 

The Empower Interview Campaign was a collaboration between Plannr Consulting & Generation Positive, in which the founders sat down and had an honest conversation on positivity and mental health with various mental health advocates.

Positivity 

Plannr Consulting’s Positivity Campaign consisted of social media efforts to bring positivity to all, through short story posts with friendly quotes.
